Whilst I’m not making those huge Six Figure numbers yet I did receive my cheque and I did manage to get the bank to deposit it into my account, and the good news is that there is yet more money building up in my Clickbank account ready for the next cheque payment. The goal now is to get from the cheque payment system to the direct deposit system, thereby getting rid of actually having to go to the bank to deposit the cheque.
In order to qualify for direct deposit, the ClickBank rules state “An account must have first received three paper paychecks within any 12 week period” now because my affiliate sales aren’t going to reach $200 over the next two pay periods it’s important now to lower the figure that triggers a payment to as low as it can go. This is set in the section of your account, where it says “Payment Information” What is the Payment Threshold.
“The “Payment Threshold” is a predetermined minimum amount of money you must have in your account before we cut you a check. You may select an amount from $10 to $100,000 as your Payment Threshold amount. The default setting is $100. We hold your payment until your payable balance reaches this amount.”
” A $2.50 pay period processing charge is deducted from each payment we issue. To change your Payment Threshold, log-in to your account and select the “Account Settings” tab. Click “Edit” to the right of the “Payment Information” section. Select the “Payment Threshold” of your choice, and click the “Save Changes” button.”
Right, I have to remember $2.50 processing fee and the transaction fee at my bank so in order to make sure that I don’t end up with a cheque being valueless I’ve got to set my next setting to equal more than $17.26! I have the option of $10, $25 or $50 – I’ve just checked my balance and set the payout amount applicable. There shouldn’t be any problem now on meeting the next two cheque payout dates as there are subscription payments entering my account as well as individual sales being made.
Now having got this momentum going, I need to build on it. Promote more = sell more.
With so many offerings out there, which method of promotion should I choose to get this going? or should I just try it out myself, in my own unique way? I wasn’t too sure who the “guru” should be, so I did a little bit of searching on the web. It threw up some interesting stuff.
